Matt came to yoga through training to be an actor. He found it a great tool when calming himself before an audition or a show, the ujjai breath alone really relaxes the nervous system and makes you feel so collected and together. Continuing to develop an interest in different styles over the years Matt came to find Jivamukti yoga and has since found a strong love of the challenging yet accessible asana practice, as well as the spiritual practices including meditation, following a compassionate lifestyle to all beings and generally being an honest and grounded person. He plans to train to teach solely Jivamukti yoga in 2017, after having already completed training in traditional Hatha yoga in 2013.
